Tornado Sailing Campaign News The Tornado designed thirty years ago specifically to be the Olympic class catamaran. The Tornado is the fastest sailing boat at the Olympics and has had constant refinement. Now sailing with twin trapeze, carbon mast, asymmetric spinnaker and is capable of speeds of over 30 knots. Jon Emmett will be training from WPNSA home of the 2012 games as well as completing in the full World Series of international regattas which take place throughout the year. Jon is a RYA laser class coach but is looking for sponsorship to fund his campaign. |
